We first met the bride-to-be here a month earlier for her bridal portraits. On that day, the weather was uncooperative as it had been raining for several hours. In contrast to the rough conditions outside, Meredith made our work inside the estate calm and easy. She was patient, gracious, and open to our ideas and suggestions, not to mention how stunning she was in her delicate and elegant wedding dress. She was everything a photographer hopes for and this session had us feeling even more excited about her big day.
Weddings can often be nerve-wracking, sometimes very stressful, but everything on their day was so collected and breezy. The bride and groom radiated a fun, positive vibe that seemed to sway everyone, including us. The bridesmaids were supportive and easy-going. The groomsman were laid-back and funny. The friends and family members were constantly smiling and laughing. Our job as photographers didn't feel like work. Joy was in the air and it was inescapable, and it all emanated from this amazing couple.
We were struck by how often you'll catch Meredith and Jacob laughing. Laughing together, laughing with loved ones, laughing with everyone. There is a love between them that's filled with strong emotion, pure joy, and endless fun. You can tell it's going to lead to a life with those same things many time over. It was our honor and absolute pleasure to capture the beginning of a true "ever-after" story.
As you look through these photos, you're going to catch yourself smiling because their happiness transcends the images we took.
Meredith, Jacob, thank you for letting us be a part of something so rare and magical!
Jacob is so light hearted, funny, and just a pure joy to be around.
The boys assembled some matching Avengers socks!
Who wouldn't want to be part of this group of friends? Everybody is having a blast!
We absolutely adore you two. You both radiate joy and happiness! Every movement, laugh or smile comes so naturally to you both.
When the time for toasts arrived, I did not expect it to be so emotional. Every person who spoke left an imprint of love on Meredith and Jacob. When it was time for her father to share his toast, there wasn't a dry eye left in the reception tent.
As they went to cut the cake, Jacob accidentally broke their Harry Potter themed knife. These two giggled and didn't let it phase them.
Rhett, the smallest member of the wedding party, had been looking forward to a slice of wedding cake all day. It's all he would talk about. Do you see that cake? Can you blame him?
The couple took a break to walk the beautiful grounds and to spend some time with their puppy, Fin.
Congratulations to Meredith & Jacob as they both start their lives together.
May you have many thrilling years spent by each other's sides.
“One thing you should know, no matter where I go, we’ll always be together.”
Thank you to Elle for second shooting this wedding with me!
