Amy & Alex
I first met Amy when I was invited to her house to capture her boudoir session. She was so much fun and so laid back!
I then captured their engagement session in Norfolk, VA in 2011.
They were so gracious to show me around the lovely city that I knew nothing about, despite living just 30 minutes away.
When I was ready to get back into wedding photography after raising my children, she was one of the first clients I contacted. They both have a laid back, fun personality and are so incredibly natural in front of the camera.
For this beautiful session, we met at the beautiful Christopher Newport University in Newport News.
Amy hadn't worn her wedding dress in seven years but she rocked it! They were married in Colorado in the snow. This session was a cold, blistery day. They both expressed how it was nothing compared to how cold their wedding day had been. Alex wore his dress whites, as he proudly serves in the U.S. Coast Guard.
We walked all over the campus and enjoyed checking out all of the different, stunning locations.
These two are just so in love. They have added two of the cutest little children to their family on top of having a teenager. (I can totally relate!) We chatted about those hard teenage years, the trying toddler years and how married life is.
I am thankful to have both Amy & Alex as clients. Both photograph so beautifully and I always look forward to working with them.
