Meet Agatha & Mike

I had the pleasure of capturing their wedding in August of 2010. They were married at the beautiful, historic Jasmine Plantation.

Throughout the years, we have kept in touch. I have watched their family grow and enjoyed being there to take photos when Agatha was pregnant with her son, James.

I took seven years off from my career as a successful wedding photographer to focus on my family. We knew we wanted to grow our family and add more children so I stepped away from the photography world. Now that my youngest is nearing preschool age, I really wanted to jump back into the photography world. Boy, a lot sure can change in seven years! 

I contacted Agatha and asked if she would be willing to have a session with Mike for the website. She was excited to hear that I was back in business and agreed to meet me for a photo session.

We met at Buckroe Beach in Hampton, VA on possibly one of the coldest days possible. They were such great sports about everything. 

Standing there, with the camera to my face, I was taken back to their wedding day all over. Their love for each other shines so bright.

Taking their portraits is easy. They pose wonderfully and are just simply naturals for the camera.

We ventured under the boardwalk for some quick photographs before our fingers nearly froze.

We popped some bubbly and celebrated all that live had given them.

Thank you to both Agatha & Mike (as well as the babysitters who watched the children!) for coming out and trusting me again to capture some memories for you and your family.

You both are always going to be part of my photography family.
