You may remember Jasmine joining me in the studio for her pregnancy session two months ago. She ended up giving birth to her son Kaiden a few days after her session and he is suuuuuuuch a cutie!
I usually don't offer many family sessions but this year I decided that I really wanted to start focusing on lifestyle sessions in and out of the studio, as well as boudoir and weddings. These sessions are uniquely beautiful because you capture the moments as they happen, with little to no posing. When you have a young family, these are perfect because it's okay if the baby cries, needs to eat or is need of a diaper change. It's all about what makes a family - each of those beautiful moments, big and small!
She really wanted to capture her first family images at a beautiful location. She chose Fort Monroe as the backdrop for their session, which lends to many different backgrounds from beach to greenery. It's definitely one of my favorite locations to photograph! The weather was supposed to be sunny and warm but when their session time arrived, it was windy, cold & threatening rain. They decided to focus on the moments they were about to have a family. Kaiden did exceptionally well considering the wind and cold!
Thank you to Jasmine, Tyler & Kaiden for trusting me with these first precious memories as a family of three!
Enjoy every single moment!
